Shane McColgin has
been kayaking for 15 years on rivers, coastal waterways, and open
ocean. She is an American Canoe Association certified instructor.
Her passion for
kayaking comes from a love for the movement of water and the sense
of adventure it stimulates, and a love of the natural world.
Her primary goal as an
instructor is to help people gain the skill and confidence that will
enable them to experience the unique enjoyment of nature from the
cockpit of a boat.
Shane taught
kayaking for many years through the Santa Rosa Jr. College Community
Ed Program as well as for Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks and Mr.
